Data Views: Step 1 - Introduction

Data Views are sets of indicators grouped under a theme. For example the Health & Wellbeing theme has a Maternity dataview. This includes indicator data on women smoking & women breastfeeding. Data Views can be displayed as tables or viewed as interactive atlases/profiles.

If the atlas reports don't work the most likely cause of the problem is that you do not have the Adobe Flash Player (ver.8 or higher) installed on your computer. If you are authorised to install the free Adobe Flash Player 'plug-in' then you can download it from the Adobe web site. Some agencies such as the Scottish Executive block machines on their network from accessing Flash, and in other agencies such as within West Lothian Council you may need to make a request to IT to have the Flash Player installed. There is further guidance on the Help page.

Make sure to check all of the different geographic areas as not all data are published for every area. There are also many options to explore via the drop-down menu's
